Launching of the works on Léo-Fournier street

The Corporation de développement industriel de Val-d’Or, Uniboard and its partners have started the diversion of an underground drainage pipe on Léo-Fournier Street in the Val-d’Or Industrial Park.

This is a major excavation project that will allow Uniboard to proceed with its previously announced $250 million modernization project.

This partnership between the CDIVD and Uniboard will allow to upgrade the drainage infrastructure under Léo-Fournier street and to proceed to new connections to the municipal network

The CDIVD is acting as project manager for a project of more than $1.8 million.

It has mandated the engineering firms Stantec and WSP, and the contractor Fournier & Fils to carry out the work.

This is a good example of collaboration between the CDIVD and the companies of the Val-d’Or Industrial Park.
