Val-d’Or Industrial Development Corporation (VDIDC)
The project has been submitted to the Quebec Ministry of Economy and Innovation and provides for the establishment of a service ecosystem to boost innovation in the territory. In terms of infrastructure, the project includes a multiservice innovation center, a northern logistics research center, the development of a new residential neighbourhood to accommodate 200 families, an electrified public transit system on the Val-d’Or territory, and an 18,000 sq. ft. innovation services center for trade fairs, exhibitions and conventions.
